Items can be created for multiple school years in SchoolCash Online, but it's essential to consider how this setup impacts functionality for online payments and availability in the SchoolCash Register.
Can an item be created in multiple school years?
It is best to set up items in the school year in which they are intended to be used.
Crossover is possible, with the understanding that:
- Previous year (optional) items aren’t available in the SchoolCash Register but can still be paid online.
- Items continue to be available online. However, after the SchoolCash Catalog rollover, only items with Required attachments are available in the Register.
District Users: Setup of Multiple Year Catalog
- Allows for an item to be created in the current year
- Allows a second item to be created in the next school year
