SCENARIO:
School has an event where they are expecting public purchases at the gate or door.
School will use the SchoolCash Register, Checkout Public Items feature.
PROCESS:
- Individual Public Purchase
- Step-by-Step feature article, select this Public Items Purchased Using the SchoolCash Register link.
- Step-by-Step feature article, select this Public Items Purchased Using the SchoolCash Register link.
- Multiple Public Purchases
A line up of multiple individuals wishing to purchase tickets can be addressed within the Checkout Public Items functionality.- Record the purchases for the first purchaser reviewing the step-by-step process in the above noted article
- IMPORTANT:
Prior to choosing Add additional item for the next person in line, the previous item checkboxes must be de-selected to remove the balance amounts, or select the trashcan to delete the items.
If these instructions are not followed, this causes an issue once the second payment is completed.
Neither the school, nor district, will be able to correct.
This cannot be modified and would require the district administrator submit a KEV support ticket.
Refunding is very specific to the receipt or email. - Review this screen capture and note that the first purchaser bought Milk Tickets and a Cinnabon Fundraiser for a Total Price Charge of $180.
- Prior to moving to the next person in line, it is important to remove the previous purchases.
This can be achieved by de-selecting the checkboxes beside the item or deleting previous items.
Prior to choosing Add additional item for the next person in line, the checkboxes must be de-selected to remove the balance amounts, or select the trashcan to delete the items.
Unchecking the item will ensure the previous Total Price Charge amount is not included in this purchaser's checkout total, and the balance (in the balance column), both will be converted to $0.00.
If the items are not de-selected or deleted, then the previous purchase total of $180 is added to the purchase of the next purchaser's Total Price Charge amount.
