This article explains the recommended report to use when an item is created using a catalog permission form.
For an item created using a permission form, the recommended report is the Permission Report.
Before you begin
- Use the Permission Report when an item is created using a catalog permission form.
- When running the report, select the item, set Show to All, and set Sort by to Student Name.
Run the Permission Report
- Open the Permission Report.
- Select the item created using the permission form.
- Set Show to All.
- Set Sort by to Student Name.
- Run the report.
What the report shows
- Selecting Show = All displays Payments, Refunds, Rejected (Owing), and Outstanding (Owing).
- The report shows the Permission Contact, which is the purchaser’s name.
- The report shows the purchaser’s relationship to the student.
- The report shows whether the purchaser agreed to volunteer.
Outcome
You can use the Permission Report as the recommended report for an item created with a catalog permission form and view payment status, purchaser information, relationship to the student, and volunteer agreement details.
Troubleshooting
- You are not sure which report to use for an item with a permission form - Use the Permission Report.
- You do not see all item statuses - Set Show to All.
- The report is not grouped as expected - Set Sort by to Student Name.
- You need purchaser details from the permission form - Review the Permission Contact, relationship to the student, and volunteer information in the report.
