This article provides information to create an Event Ticket item with a base price.

Each ticket is the same price, for example, for general admission to an event. This item example also includes an option with choices that are an extra cost.

Before you begin

Scenario: An event is coming up where all tickets will be the same price. There is an opportunity to purchase an extra item.
Best practice: It is always best to create a separate item when additional items are for sale in addition to the ticket prices.
If it is decided to have everything in one item, be sure to add a No Extras option choice and enter $0.00 for that choice.

Event Tickets - One Price (General Admission) Example with Option and Choices

Item name

Replace the generic item name. Do not begin the name with the date or grade. Is the event available to the public? If yes, review the Public or Unlisted article.

Description	(Replace the words in uppercase with your item information.) SCHOOL NAME is presenting EVENT on DATE, at TIME, in LOCATION. All tickets are one PRICE. Take your ITEM to the event. Both options have the school logo. A portion of these proceeds will go to SCHOOL NAME FUND. Please bring your receipt as proof of purchase for entry.

You will be charged for the number of extras as per your quantity selections.
Choice Name & Price	CHOICE 1    (change /enter price) CHOICE 2    (change/enter price) No Extras    (NO Price) enter $0.00 By adding a No Extras choice, the parent is forced to make a choice. Remove the opportunity to select incorrectly.
Settings	Min (Minimum Choice Selection) set to 1 Max (Maximum Choice Selection) set to 1 This minimum and maximum setup forces the parent to make a choice decision. When previewing, notice there are circles beside the choices.
Additional Settings
Limit Per Student	Leave default - allows for one ticket purchase.
Limit Quantity	Leave default if there are unlimited event seats. Is there a limited number of event seats? If yes, change the toggle from unlimited and enter a number.
